Baldo is designed to be private. This policy explains how data is handled in the app.
Nothing. Baldo does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any developer server. The app has no account system and no developer-operated analytics or advertising trackers.
When you scan, Baldo analyzes the photo on your device using Apple frameworks. Your photos and scan results are not uploaded to us. The image analysis is local to your device.
Baldo uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to detect where a face is in your photo (a bounding rectangle) so it can locate your hairline, temples, and crown. This face data is processed only in memory on your device, is never stored, and is never shared with us or any third party. Baldo does not create face geometry, faceprints, or any biometric identifier, and cannot identify anyone. Face data is discarded the moment analysis finishes; your photo and scan results are stored only on your device until you delete them.
If you save scans, Baldo stores the scan image and result locally on your device so you can review your history. This history is not sent to us. You can delete saved scans in the app or remove all local data by deleting Baldo from your device.
Photos and results leave your device only if you choose to share them using iOS sharing features, such as Messages or Save Image. Those actions are initiated by you.
Baldo Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple.
