Outlet — Privacy Policy

Outlet ("we", "us") connects EV drivers with hosts who rent out their home chargers. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account: your email and the display name you provide (first name + last initial).
• Listings (hosts): your charger details and address. A coarse, approximate location is shown publicly; your exact address is shared only with a driver who has a confirmed booking.
• Location: with your permission, your device's location is used on the map to show nearby chargers and center the map on you. It is processed on your device for the map view and is not stored by us or used to track you.
• Bookings & usage: reservations, charging sessions, and reviews.
• Payments: processed by Stripe. We do not store card or bank details; we store only Stripe identifiers needed to operate the marketplace.

How we use it

To provide the service: show nearby chargers, process bookings and host payouts, maintain ratings, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Sharing

We share data only as needed with service providers: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (hosting, database, authentication), and Apple (Sign in with Apple). A host's exact location is shared with a driver after a confirmed booking. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices & deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account), which permanently removes your profile, listings, and bookings.
