Steeple Chase is a geography guessing game about temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This policy explains how data is handled in the app.
Nothing, directly. Steeple Chase has no account system and no developer-operated servers or analytics. Your scores and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the app. No connection is needed except to load the map and ads.
Steeple Chase shows ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising partner. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as an advertising identifier (IDFA, where you allow it), IP address and approximate region, and how you interact with ads. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy; details on how Google uses this data are at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
On first launch, iOS asks whether Steeple Chase may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you allow it, Google may use your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads. If you decline, you'll still see ads — they'll just be less personalized. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In some regions you may also see a consent form from Google before ads load.
The Remove Ads purchase permanently turns off interstitial and banner advertising, and makes the country hint free — no rewarded ads either. Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never receive or store your payment information.
Temple photographs are from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses; photographer credits are listed in the app's About & Photo Credits screen. Steeple Chase is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Steeple Chase is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
